Collagen is found naturally in bones, skin and cartilage. Our Collagen Hydrolysate is from the hide. Containing over 90% protein and a distinctive amino acid group that make it rapidly absorbed and easily assimilated by the body.
Collagen contains glycine, lysine and proline, which can be used by the body to build connective tissue structures to support cell functions.
There is no difference.
Collagen Hydrolysate is a form of gelatin and the amino acid profiles are the same. Collagen Hydrolysate is easily dissolved in smoothies, juice, coffee, etc. It is the best choice for consumers looking to add this nutrition to their diet. Gelatin needs to be warmed to dissolved and will form a gel which is great for cooking applications.
There is not a performance difference between the two types. The pork has a milder flavor and tends to be slightly clearer. The beef gelatin is a popular choice and is kosher.

We suggest for gelatin to mix in liquids of room temperature, which makes it swell, then add heat to dissolve. If left in cold it will not dissolve, however it will be easier to swallow if at room temperature.
Hydrolysate should be added to empty glass or cup, then pour your desired juice or drink over dry powder and it will more easily dissolve. We do urge using an electric mixer as it disperses with ease.
We recommend that you take two rounded tablespoons (12 g) twice a day. It will easily dissolve in your favorite beverages such as coffee, tea, juice or a smoothie. Check out our recipes for more ideas! Continued daily use will provide best results.
