Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Great Lakes Gelatin Company.  It is our goal to leave you 100% satisfied with your Great Lakes Gelatin Company experience.  All products are tested extensively and are not shipped to customers unless they meet our strict guidelines and high standards.  If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Please contact customer service at 847-223-8141 for instructions on how to return your order and to obtain a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization).

Here are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product:

  • Products MUST be purchased directly from Great Lakes®
  • Due to FDA regulations, opened product CANNOT be accepted for return.
  • We will accept UNOPENED product for a refund within 10 days of purchase if you are        dissatisfied with your order (minus a 20% restocking fee & shipping).
  • Credit will not be issued for lost, opened or damaged product during return shipping.
  • We recommend using a shipping company that provides tracking and insurance.

Damaged or Defective Product Credit/Return:

In the rare event that an order is damaged in transit to you, we will credit you for the damaged product cost. Please provide us with a photograph of the damaged products for insurance purposes.

If an item is found to be defective, we will send you a prepaid shipping label to return the product to us for inspection by our Quality Control Department. Once the returned item is in transit we will ship you a replacement.

For product purchased from ANY other seller besides Great Lakes®, please contact the seller directly – they are responsible for the return, credit or replacement.
